Here’s a great turkey chili recipe. Sure to please everyone!
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp. Roasted Garlic
1 (8 oz.) container Trinity Vegetables Mix (onions, peppers and celery, diced)
1 (20 oz.) package Ground Turkey
1 (8 oz.) can Tomato Sauce
1 (1.25 oz.) packet Chili Seasoning Mix
1 (10 oz.) can milder Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles, undrained
1 (16 oz.) can Chili Beans, undrained
Directions:
Preheat a large sauce pan on medium high for 2 to 3 minutes and then add the oil to coat the pan. Add the garlic and trinity mix, cook for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring often, until well browned.
Reduce the heat to medium; and brown ground turkey 5 to 7 minutes, stirring until it crumbles.
Stir in tomato sauce, chili seasoning, diced tomatoes and green chilies, and chili beans. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated and flavors arc well blended.
And Enjoy!
