This is a great chili recipe that is full of beans and more beans.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. Ground Beef
1 cup Onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) jar Thick and Chunky Salsa
2 (15 3/4 oz.) cans Chili Beans with Chili Gravy
1 (12 oz.) can beer or (14 oz.) can Beef Broth
1 (16 oz.) can Refried Beans
1 Tbsp. Ground Cumin
2 Tbsp. Chili Powder
2 Tbsp. Lime Juice
Dairy sour cream (optional)
Directions:
In a large skillet brown the beef and onion until it’s tender, stirring occasionally, and leaving some of the beef in larger pieces. Then drain off the fat.
In a 5 to 6 quart slow cooker add the beef mixture, salsa, chili beans with gravy, beer or beef broth, refried beans, cumin, and chili powder.
Cover and cook. Stirring in the lime juice at the end of cooking.
Great with a spoon full of sour cream when serving.
